Nicole began designing jewelry by making unique gifts for her friends. Those same friends eventually encouraged her to start a business in 2012. Wanting to create a name that resonated with her personally, she combined the names of her son and daughter, Gunnar and Isabel, and Gunnibelle was born.
Gunnibelle today is more sophisticated than where it began. Her designs are more and more versatile, and they can easily be worn to dress-up or dress-down any outfit. Nicole loves to start with an ordinary outfit like a t-shirt and jeans ensemble, and accessorize to take it up a level.
When sitting down with her library of stones, Nicole is often able to envision a new design without hesitation. Other times, she notices details throughout her everyday life which eventually come together into a new creation.
